John C. Peterson, 57, died at his home on October 28, 2007.  John graduated from Augustana College with honors and attended Lutheran School of Theology in Chicago. He had worked for the Social Security Administration in both the Peru and Champaign offices, as well as in other services related areas.  John enjoyed helping others.
